Our first Judo World Championship champion in Budapest, Yanislav Gerchev, finished his second round in a 60 kilograms category. The silver medalist of the Euro-Championship this spring started with an impulse victory over Tapiva Paviri (Zimbabwe), but then the road was interrupted by Orkan Safarov (Azerbaijan), who beat him with "sponge".
The Azerbaijan came to the final in the category, where he lost to Japanese Naohisa Tacato with "wazzari" and "ipon". Bronze honors in the 60 kilograms category won the Mongolian Boldbaatar Ganbat and the Uzbek Diorbek Urozboev.
On Wednesday of the tatami Ivelina Ilieva goes up to 57 kg. Ivaylo Ivanov struggles in the 81 kg category on Thursday, and his birth in Budapest ends with Daniel Dichev in the 100 kg category on Saturday.
