Milan aiming to win in Romania

Italian Grand Prix Milan kicks off his European tournament on Thursday when he is visiting FC U Craiova in a match from the third preliminary round of the Europa League tournament.

For Craiova, this is new, as the team has never played in European club tournaments. The team could not dream of anything more than a baptism in the race - against one of the most successful teams in Europe.

The hosts started their home game, winning 4 points in their first two games. The two league matches were followed by another loss by UFA and Dynamo Kyiv.

The Romanians did not enjoy a good performance at home after winning only one of their last 10 home games in all the tournaments.

Milan is one of the teams that have spent the most money through this transfer window. The team attracted Leonardo Bonucci, Frank Cassie, Andrea Silva, and many others.

The new owners of the team show great ambition and gradually turn Milan into a major favorite for winning the trophy. Of course, as a starting point, the team must overcome their unfamiliar Romanian adversary.

The guests, apart from their bigger experience, will also rely on a good series in the tournament. Milan is currently unbeaten in nine consecutive Europa League matches and defeated in three of its last 20 fights in the race.

Interesting is the fact that the Italian team has scored 4 consecutive draws in their last 4 fights, with 3 of them finishing over 2.5 goals. Besides, Rosoneries are unbeaten in their last 4 away games in the second most important tournament in Europe. In their pre-season preparation the team recorded two successes with 4-0 over Lugano and Bayern Munich.
