Bulgarian tennis player Elitsa Kostova returned to the court after dropping out of the top 200 in the UTA rankings. Kostova participated in the tournament in Prague with a prize pool of 80 thousand dollars and dropped out in the first round.
Elitsa played with host Petra Kreshova and was close to success, but collapsed in the third set and lost 6-4, 6-7 (2), 0-6. Kostova led with a break in the second part, but was stabbed at the first opportunity.
The Kardzhali is under No. 246 in the virtual rankings of the UTA with 211 points.
The leader of the race circuit in Prague is the new hope of Czech tennis Marketa Vondrashova, which has already been successful in an elite tournament this year.
